Frankincense (Boswellia carterii):  Frankincense essential oil, extracted in Egypt, is both a potent antimicrobial, an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and acts as a natural skin lightener making it ideal for both acne and the pesky scars acne leaves behind. The antimicrobial properties also allow this essential oil to relive yeast infection on the skin. The aroma of frankincense stimulates the brain’s emotional center, soothing and calming the mind. Strengthens immune system, rejuvenates skin, helps compromised respiratory systems recover, all of which are indirectly related to the formation of acne.

Geranium (Pelargronim graveolens): Geranium essential oil , extracted in Egypt, have both antimicrobial and antifungal properties, preventing or slowing the growth of bacteria and fungi. This essential oil has the ability to alleviate blotchy and congested skin, which is extremely helpful for skin issues caused by hormonal imbalances. With it’s abilities to balance emotions and hormones, and stimulate the lymph system so there aren’t excess toxins being eliminated through our skin, geranium essential oil is ideal for acne, especially hormonal acne.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia): Lavender essential oil, extracted in France, is both a antibacterial and antifungal and has the ability to soothe inflammation. Lavender also has the ability positively effect your emotions and alleviate stress which also has an affect on the health of your skin.

Mandarin (Citrus reticulata): Mandarin essential oil, extracted in Italy, serves as an antibacterial, antimicrobial, and an antioxidant making it ideal for alleviating a number of skin conditions including acne. Mandarin essential oil also protects the liver, ensuring it complete all of it's processes and promotes bile discharge. Both of these properties aid in healthy digestion which in turn promotes healthy skin. 

Tee tree (Melaleuca alternifolia): Tee tree essential oil, extracted in Australia, treats a variety of ailments acne being one of them because of its antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral properties that prevent and or slow the growth of fungi and bacteria, as well as clear up respiratory infections. 

Peppermint (Mentha x piperita): Peppermint essential oil, native to the Mediterranean region, is known for it's menthol component, responsible for it's cooling agent, which is great for inflammation. Peppermint essential oil has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties. In addition to it's acne fighting properties, peppermint essential oil stimulates the liver and gallbladder, improving digestion.
